Thanks to the unique wavelength of 1318 nanometers and high
values of coefficients of absorption in water and hemoglobin the
Limax® laser is ideal for cutting, coagulation and an alloying that
allows to prevent developing of bleedings and to try to obtain an
aerostaz during the work on a parenchyma of lungs.
Advantage of Nd:YAG of the surgical Limax® laser with diode
pumping that irrespective of the power established on the laser
radiation always constant quality, unlike the diode laser. While
diameter of the beam radiated by the diode laser increases in
proportion to power, and quality of radiation, respectively,
decreases, the Limax® laser keeps quality of radiation even at 120
W. It allows surgeons to work with values of density of power of
radiation over 100 KW/cm2 with use of superthin light guides with a
diameter of 260 microns.
In addition to the laser the surgical laser Limax® system is
equipped integrated dymootsosy and system of an obduv of the
working tool. Parameters of work of all systems are controlled by
means of the main menu of control of the laser.
Wavelength of 1318 nanometers allows to make a precision
resection of parenchymatous fabric. Thanks to property to be
absorbed both water, and hemoglobin, laser radiation with this
wavelength allows to reach an excellent alloying of fabric.
Thus high extent of preservation of healthy fabric is reached.
Bronkhoskopiya – one more area where the used wavelength of
laser radiation matters. Because of small absorption in wave
hemoglobin more long 1318 nanometers are not capable to have
desirable coagulating effect, however well are suitable for a
dissektion of fabrics. The wave 1318 nanometers long differs in
high extent of absorption in hemoglobin that allows to prevent
emergence of undesirable effects at influence of laser radiation,
for example hypostases. Besides, the pulse operating mode allows to
use Limax® even for the most delicate endobronchial procedures
with the minimum damage of healthy fabric.
Numerous international researches show a number of advantages of
treatment of tuberculosis by surgical methods before
pharmaceutical. Doctor Iserman and coauthors report about more than
80% of cases of treatment of tuberculosis forms, steady against
pharmaceutical methods of treatment. While Lalloo, etc. report
about from above, than 90% of cases of treatment of patients after
application of surgical methods of treatment of tuberculosis.
Thanks to a precision resection of a parenchyma of a lung with
the maximum preservation of LATR fabric allows to treat patients to
whom lobectomy or a pnevmonektomiya, with preservation of bigger
volume of pulmonary fabric was shown. The laser resection tuberkuly
(LATR) gives to patients chance of full-fledged life, unlike
classical surgical methods of treatment of tuberculosis.
Completely autoclaved focusing handle allows to carry out
precision interventions by the laser in the contactless mode.
Extremely high density of power of radiation guarantee achievement
of optimum results both when cutting, and at coagulation of
parenchymatous fabric. Speaking briefly, the focusing handle does
use of the laser convenient and safe. The risk of perforation of
